Top 5 Personalization Apps in Russia for Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the personalization app market in Russia showed varied performance across the top five apps on the unified platform. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Yandex Browser with Protect experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at approximately 240K at the beginning of April, before tapering down to around 180K in June. Despite no revenue generation, its active user base remained robust, maintaining over 43M throughout the quarter.

Wallpaper 4K HD – Wallcraft saw a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a high of 35K in mid-June. Active users, however, witnessed a decline from 420K to around 322K by the end of June.

ThemeKit - Themes & Widgets showed a decline in downloads from a high of 29K in early April to about 9K by the end of June. Its active user count remained steady, hovering between 290K and 370K.

Canvas Launcher experienced a dramatic surge in downloads, especially in June, with numbers climbing from 1.2K to over 101K. Active users also increased significantly, reaching nearly 39K by the end of the quarter.

Facemoji AI Emoji Keyboard maintained a stable download rate, with a peak of 31K in early May. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $153 in the last week of June. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 436K to 614K.
